ImprovFaction

This is ImprovFaction. It is improvisational theatre and a work in progress. It will not always be funny. We don't want it to be. Make no mistake, we're hilarious. But if you're under the misguided notion that improv has to be funny every single second, well, then you've never seen true improv. At its heart, improvisation is storytelling. We tell stories. And stories need breathing room and patience and time. Stories aren't constantly funny. So neither is our improv Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. That's improv. We refuse to play it safe. Because then, we could never be great. The alternative is the dull safety of well-worn punch lines and predictable gags feebly disguised as real improvisation. This is not going to be like that. This is ImprovFaction.
